Unlike the majority of other valuables pouches out there, this ones comes with a ZIPPER. This is great when you don't have to worry about small items (such as change, etc) falling out of the compartment, as you might with a simple drawstring pouch. Also, it's lined on the inside, offering a measure of protection for anything that might otherwise be easily scratched (like an LCD screen). It's also a little larger than I thought (something in the neighborhood of 8"L x 6"W), but this turned out to be an excellent advantage in the end.

Please note, however: there is ANOTHER Adidas Valuables Pouch out there for sale as well (the Adidas UNIVERSITY pouch, NOT the Adidas PERFORMANCE pouch, which is this item). The Adidas University pouch is a DRAWSTRING-ONLY pouch. I was mislead by the product information on another website, and was disappointed to find that it did not come with a zippered compartment.
