Summary: Great case! 2010-02-11
Comment: I bought this for my husband for Christmas since we travel and he takes his golf clubs. It was much more sturdy that I thought it would be. The latches (3 of them) held the case together and there were also areas to place zip ties or other means of securing the case. He bought a new golf bag on a recent trip and now I will be buying a slightly bigger version of this case to accomodate his new bag - but the good news is, I get to use this case!

Summary: Until someone makes a great one, The Best Case I Can Find.. 2010-02-10
Comment: If you're like me you can't risk your clubs when your airline makes you sign a liability waiver if you don't have a hard sided case. Invest in this one- while it isn't perfect, it's by far the best hard sided case I can find (and I've tried several). It will easily fit your carry bag, what you can stuff into it, two pairs of shoes, and your standard length driver without having to take it out of your bag. Be careful of the locks and hinges- they are flimsy. I would highly recommend investing in a nylon snap-lock strap, like ones sold for backpacking. Size it to fit the waist of the case through the handle. On one of my current cases, the top lock and hinge are broken, but with the strap I've made a dozen trips without a problem. It's hard to go wrong with this case when the case costs less then shipping your clubs one way via FedEx or a bag shipping company...

Summary: Arrived with broke latch 2010-01-14
Comment: I just had the travel golf case arrive tonight for my husbands's birthday and up coming trip to Arizona to find the top latch broken. I am concerned about the durabilty if it broke when being shipped. My husband tried the case to make sure all his clubs fit in case we get the same golf case exchanged, and everything did fit. Not sure if I will have to pay for shipping back now, but disappointed that it arrived broken.

Summary: Hard shell golf travel case is best for airline travel 2009-12-27
Comment: I've been using this hard shell golf travel case for the past 14 years. Although I get a bunch of grief from my golf buddies because it doesn't squash down in the trunk of the car as easily as the soft cases, I have never had any of my golf clubs damaged. In fact, you must sign a damage waiver on some airlines (Southwest Airlines I know for sure) when you check a soft golf case but you do NOT have to sign such a waiver when you check this hard shell golf case.

Summary: Exactly what I needed. Great value. 2009-12-24
Comment: This case was exactly what I needed. I can fit my entire bag (including driver, balls, shoes, accessories) right inside the case, snap it closed, lock it up, and take it with me on a plane. It's an unbeatable value at 60 dollars, especially with free shipping. It comes in a big ol' box that probably costs quite a bit to ship.
The look is very generic, but I've spiced mine up with some stickers and tags.
